The Universal Declaration of Rights of Smokers
Preamble
Recognizing the inherent dignity and equal rights of all individuals as the foundation of freedom, justice, and peace in the world, and acknowledging the specific challenges and discrimination faced by smokers globally, we hereby proclaim this Universal Declaration of Rights of Smokers as a common standard to promote respect, protect health, and ensure fairness.
Article 1: Right to Personal Autonomy Every individual has the right to make personal decisions regarding smoking, provided it does not infringe on the rights and well-being of others.
Article 2: Right to Non-Discrimination No person shall be discriminated against on the basis of their status as a smoker in any sphere of life, including employment, education, healthcare, housing, and public services.
