Urgent Warning to Canada: Reinstatement of Section 13 is Critical to National Security

The repeal of Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act in 2013 by Stephen Harper's government has unleashed a wave of online hate, extremism, and neo-Nazi activities that threaten to tear our country apart. This legislative void has made Canada a breeding ground for fascists, extremists, and terrorists who now operate with impunity. Without Section 13, Canada has become a sanctuary for hate and extremism. Neo-Nazi figures like Andrew "Christo" Nelson openly promote violence, division, and insurrection, targeting marginalized communities and political leaders, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and U.S. President Joe Biden. These threats are not just words—they are calls to action that endanger lives, destabilize our democracy, and undermine public safety. The RCMP and CHRC's refusal to act against these threats is tantamount to endorsing the rise of fascism in Canada.
Make no mistake: the removal of Section 13 has effectively legalized hate. The absence of this critical legal safeguard has allowed extremists to spread their toxic ideologies online, recruit followers, and incite violence with little fear of legal repercussions. Canada's law enforcement and government have failed to protect us, leaving our digital and social landscapes vulnerable to the unchecked growth of neo-Nazi and far-right movements.
If Section 13 is not reinstated immediately, Canada will face the following consequences:

Canada must act now to avoid a catastrophic future. The reinstatement of Section 13 is not just a legal necessity—it is a moral imperative. The Canadian government must immediately reintroduce robust hate speech laws, enforce stringent monitoring of extremist activities, and hold accountable those who incite violence and hatred. Failure to do so will see Canada descend further into a breeding ground for fascism, endangering the lives of its citizens and the stability of the nation.

The future of our country depends on our ability to confront and eradicate extremism at its root. The time for complacency is over.
